nftreats.art is a platform created by artists for artists. We mean it when we say decentralize: our long-term goal is to create a community-focused marketplace free of centralised control, censorship and big corporations. Our co-founders have connections and experience working within the adult entertainment industry as well years worth of experience with design, development, marketing and product development between them. We’re also working with experienced advisors with deep knowledge and experience of blockchain technologies, from an artist and sex-worker perspective.

Our technical approach
The marketplace will be run on fully audited L2 solutions to increase efficiency and lower gas fees. Our main focus is to increase accessibility for artists and collectors. We’ll be using a side-chain for the transactions on our marketplace. This will allow our users to access the majority of the NFT market which is currently on Ethereum L1.

Our platform and future protocol are in development and are on course for summer 2021. We can’t wait to give you a taste of what we’re all about, so we have organised 5 pre-launch auctions with exclusive artists and performers for our community. These will not be showcasing the functions of our main platform but will act as an introduction of some of the artists we’ll be working with.

We’re happy to announce that we have officially partnered with NGO Women of SexTech for the launch of our website. Women of SexTech is a digital safe space dedicated to internally radicalising and externally hacking the next trillion-dollar industry – a mission we share here at nftreats and that we as a company want to accelerate. We want to help make sure that the future of blockchain and NFTs is inclusive and won’t repeat harmful patterns of the traditional financial system and art world. Together with WOST and several adult entertainers and erotic artists we’ll be organising a fundraising auction of exclusive erotic NFTs. 45% of all funds collected will be donated to Women of SexTech, 45% will go to the artists directly and 10% will be directed towards the development of nftreats.art.
